The Caesars Palace Poker Room has reopened nearly a year after the temporary closure of the popular Las Vegas poker room.

In June 2024, the Caesars Entertainment-owned property closed the poker room as part of a casino renovation project, as a nearby high-limit slot machine area underwent remodeling. While the poker room closure was expected to last 2-3 months, poker didn't return to the iconic Strip casino until this weekend.

Caesars Palace announced on X that the new poker room would open on Friday morning and unveiled a daily and nightly tournament schedule consisting of four tournaments with buy-ins of $120 to $160. As with previous dalies at Caesars, all tournaments feature a $50 add-on for 15,000 tournament chips.

The new poker room, which will be open 24/7, is located in the Appian Way shopping area near the statue of David. The previous poker room was located next to the Caesars Race & Sportsbook.

The return of the Caesars Palace Poker Room is the latest sign of a resurgence of poker on the Strip after several pandemic-related closures throughout Las Vegas.

Earlier this month, Planet Hollywood re-opened its poker room in a new location and with revamped amenities, including a balcony overlooking the casino action.

It hasn't been all good news for live poker in Vegas, however. In October 2024, Sahara Las Vegas closed its small poker room to make way for slot machines.

There should be no shortage of action at Caesars Palace and all around the Strip as thousands of players head to Las Vegas for the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP). Caesars Entertainment owned the WSOP brand until selling it to GGPoker in August 2024.

There is no surefire way to guarantee a win in the 50/50 lottery; it is ultimately based on chance. In addition to having fun and possibly winning a cash prize, participants should concentrate on the experience of supporting a charitable cause. Organizations usually have procedures in place to handle situations where the 50/50 lottery prize is not claimed within a given period of time. Unclaimed prizes may be carried over into subsequent draws or put toward continuing the organization's initiatives' fundraising efforts, depending on their policies. To provide participants with another chance to win, some organizations may decide to use prize funds that have not yet been claimed to hold a secondary draw or raffle.
