While the traditional summer version of the 2025 World Series of Poker is in full swing, the WSOP has released details of the return of the WSOP Paradise winter series. From December 4 to 18, Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas will play host to the winter version of poker's most fabled brand for the third year in a row.
Headlining the festival is a jaw-dropping $60,000,000-guaranteed Super Main Event — the largest prize guarantee in live poker tournament history. The festival is hosted in exclusive partnership with GGPoker and Triton Poker.
It will be the third iteration of WSOP Paradise with an unparalleled set of high roller and super high roller events, jointly curated and hosted by the WSOP and Triton Poker to ensure a world-class experience for all players.

For the third year in a row, the WSOP will set up shop on the Caribbean island for players to try and create poker's ultimate winter playground. In 2023, Stanislav Zegal won the first-ever iteration of the WSOP Paradise Main Event, back then featuring a $5,000 entry tag and $15M Gtd., by defeating a field of 3,010 players.
The online qualifier took home $2,000,000 and a bracelet for his life-altering victory, outlasting experienced pros such as Matt Glantz and Rui Sousa at the final table.
Place | Player | Country | Prize | |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Stanislav Zegal | Germany | $2,000,000 | |
2 | Michael Sklenicka | Czech Republic | $1,200,000 | |

In 2024, the WSOP went one step further and increased the buy-in to a whopping $25,000, accompanied by an equally lustrous $50,000,000 guarantee. While the prize pool ultimately fell just shy of the guarantee, 1,978 players made their way to the Bahamas to compete in one of the biggest live poker tournaments ever outside of Vegas.
In the end, 24-year old Yinan Zhou bluffed his way past tons of poker royalty at a final table that included Justin Bonomo, Liv Boeree, Mustapha Kanit, and Michael Addamo. Zhou received an eye-watering $6,000,000 for his incredible accomplishment. The WSOP's most-decorated player, Phil Hellmuth (17 bracelets), bubbled the event.
Place | Player | Country | Prize (USD) |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Yinan Zhou | China | $6,000,000 |
2 | Marcelo Aziz | Brazil | $4,600,000 |

Despite narrowly missing out on the guarantee last year, the WSOP has decided to double down and add another $10,000,000 to create the single largest guarantee ever for a live poker tournament.
"They called us crazy last year for launching the Super Main Event with the biggest live tournament guarantee ever, so consider this a re-raise," said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP. "WSOP Paradise is here to stay, and we’re making poker history once again, with the $60,000,000 guarantee and some new signature events."
"The expanded partnership with Triton, alongside the new Super Mystery Bounty kickoff event, headlines what is a can’t-miss winter festival."

Daniel Negreanu added: “I said last year that a $50M guarantee for the Super Main Event was crazy - adding another $10,000,000 on top is freaking insane! WSOP is bringing the biggest high rollers and the best poker experience possible back to Paradise, and I cannot wait to be part of it," said GGPoker's Global Ambassador.
The partnership with Triton Poker is also expanding, and Andy Wong, CEO of the Triton Poker Series, couldn't be more excited for bringing the famed high roller brand back to the island.
"We’re thrilled to return to WSOP Paradise and bring the Triton experience back to this part of the world," he said. "WSOP Paradise is a truly exciting stop for us at Triton, and we’re proud to be part of it once again.”
Players can satellite into the WSOP Paradise Super Main Event exclusively at GGPoker, with Road to Paradise qualifier tournaments already live in the GGPoker tournament lobby and more qualifier options set to launch in the coming weeks with WSOP Express.
Winning players will secure a $30K WSOP Paradise Super Main Event package, which includes their $25K buy-in, discounted accommodation at the exclusive Atlantis Paradise Island resort, complimentary meals, and more.
The full WSOP Paradise 2025 schedule will be revealed later this year.
