It was a busy weekend at PokerStars, with the Sunday Million 19th Anniversary exploding into action and dozens of poker Goliaths competing in the $5,200 Titans Event. The former is in full swing, with only 32 of the 28,444 starters remaining. Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo triumphed in the latter, although he didn't walk away with the largest slice of the $330,000 prize pool.
This week's Titans Event saw 66 entries and a $330,000 prize pool that the top ten finishers shared. As is usually the case, stellar names such as Michael "imluckbox" Addamo, Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi, Andras "probirs" Nemeth, and Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski turned out in force, although they didn't make the money.
The final table was set, and the money bubble burst when Andrey "Anjeyyy" Novak crashed out in tenth.
Leon "RUMUKULUS" Sturm was the first of the nine finalists relieved of their stack. Ninth place came with a $10,288 payout. Mexico-based "SerVlaMin" and Ole "wizowizo" Schemion were the next casualties. They collected $11,778 and $15,726, respectively.
Six-handed play concluded with "chrisgoataui" bowing out for $20,996, closely followed by Guillaume "Nolet20" Nolet ($28,032) and Finnish sensation Samuel "€urop€an" Vousden ($37,426).
The Titans Event progressed to heads-up after Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle's untimely demise. Rolle saw his PokerStars account swell by $49,968 as the final two players prepared to lock horns in a one-on-one battle for all the glory.
Pascal "Pass_72" Lefrancois held a chip advantage at the start of heads-up, evident by him securing the larger payout when he and Pardo struck a deal. Lefrancois fell at the final hurdle, but had locked in $83,903 for his efforts, slightly more than $12,000 more than the $71,880 Pardo collected after the Spaniard came out on top.

The Sunday Million 19th Anniversary Will Award Its Champion Almost $602,000

Only 32 players remain in the hunt for the Sunday Million 19th Anniversary title and the jaw-dropping $601,862 first-place prize. The 28,444-strong field meant an overlay on the $6 million prize pool, not that those who finished in the top 4,063 places minded because it added more value to their tournament.
Several Team PokerStars members finished inside the money places. Sebastian "peace&loove" Huber, Nicholas "Nicholas Walsh" Walsh, Alejandro "[Papo]AR" Lococo, Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg, Marle "MarlzTV" Spragg, Fintan "easywithaces" Hand, James "J.Hartigan" Hartigan, Barny "PokerVoice" Boatman, and Lasse Jagd "Wistern" Lauritsen all cashed.

Brazilian soccer sensation Neymar went the deepest of all the Red Spade-sporting players, eventually falling in 615th place.
When play resumes on the third and final day at 6:05 p.m. BST on April 8, 32 players will return to their seats. Each is guaranteed $6,720, but the prize money rapidly increases. A final table appearance is worth $40,123, a top six finish locks in $110,774, and the eventual winner scoops $601,862.

Brazil's "AT_prodotico" leads the way when the cards are back in the air courtesy of their 51,036,870 chips. The United Kingdom's "desbone13" occupies second place with 42,009,209 chips, with Joseph "Joe Santana" Santana's 38,332,138 stack rounding out the podium places.
Only a few big blinds separate the rest of the overnight top ten. With the players returning to blinds of 350,000/700,000 and a running ante of 87,500, it's only going to take a minor mistake to reshuffle the leading pack.
