First Event Runs on Boxing Day

Our first tournament is the PokerNews PowerPath Open Sat, which shuffles up and deals at 2:00 p.m. ET on December 26. This event only costs $1.10 to enter yet has five $109 Power Path Open tickets added to its prize pool. Get your hands on one of those tickets, and you'll be playing in the 1,000-player capped tournament on December 29, where four Gold Passes and 11 Silver Passes are waiting to be won.

First, at 2:00 p.m. ET, we have the PokerNews New Year Series Event Freeroll that has two $109 New Year Series Main Event tickets in its prize pool. Half an hour later, at 2:30 p.m. ET, the $1.10 buy-in PokerNews New Year Series Event Fiesta kicks off. In addition to any prize money won, the top five players also receive a $109 New Year Series Main Event ticket for their efforts.

Then at 3:00 p.m. ET on January 9, we have an $11 buy-in PokerNews New Year Series Event Fiesta with a huge added prize. Come out on top in this tournament to pad your bankroll with the lion's share of the prize pool plus a $1,050 New Year Series Main Event seat!
