  • Every player starts the game with seven cards. The top card is turned face-up to begin the discard pile, and the remaining cards make up the draw pile. At the conclusion of each player's turn, they discard one card after drawing from either pile. A run is a string of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, whereas a set is made up of three or four cards of the same rank. Three sevens, for instance, would constitute a valid set, and the four, five, and six of hearts would constitute a valid run. Planning, memory, & strategic thinking are all necessary for 777 Rummy.
