In November 2018 on the BetOnline platform, "santinhoz" lost a hand with quad tens to quad aces, but in turn won $218,033 of a $1,249,972 jackpot.

A player named Kwame turned over Q♦Q♣for quads, but was beaten by the K♠J♠of his opponent (royal flush). The player with the losing hand $522,622 and the winning hand received a payout of $261,311.

Hand #1: An Even Bigger Jackpot at Playground ($2,200,000)

In June 2022, another bad beat jackpot hit at Playground Poker Club, but this one was even bigger. Much bigger. The pot reached $2.2 million by all accounts, the largest BBJ in live poker history.
