  • At the start of the game, each player is dealt 13 cards from a standard 52-card deck. Making sets and sequences with the 13 cards at your disposal is the aim of Eastern Rummy. A sequence is made up of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, whereas a set is made up of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. Until one player successfully creates sets and sequences using all of their cards, or until the stockpile runs out, the game goes on.
