Up to six players can play Indian Rummy, another traditional variation that usually uses two decks of cards. Players' goal is still to create legitimate sets and sequences. The requirement for at least two sequences, one of which must be a pure sequence (without a joker), is one of the novelties introduced by Indian Rummy. Players must consider their card combinations & strategies carefully because of this additional layer of complexity.
